This beautiful dilute tortoiseshell girl has polydactyl front paws and enjoys pets and ear skritches
Dolly is a stunning dilute tortoiseshell cat with extra toes who is on the lookout for her forever family. She may be a bit timid around people at first, but she enjoys love and affection on her terms. Dolly enjoys being petted and ear scritches while she is lying down near you.
While she may need a little time to warm up to her human companions, Dolly has greatly improved her “people skills.” She enjoys playing with toys and receiving gentle pets and ear scritches, particularly when she’s lounging nearby. She is at her most loving in the morning and evening.
Personality Traits:
- Tortitude: Dolly has the classic “tortitude” personality. She adores affection on her terms and relishes attention when she desires it. However, she also has an independent streak and may prefer her own space from time to time. She especially loves Delectables push-up treats and they can open the key to her heart.
- Independent Spirit: Dolly is a cat who knows what she wants. She’s not overly reliant on human affection but appreciates moments of love, especially in the mornings and evenings.
- Social Butterfly: Despite her initial shyness, Dolly thrives in the company of other cats – she adores them (and not just her kittens! With a proper introduction period, she forms strong bonds and enjoys the companionship of her feline friends. She loves nothing more than frolicking around and engaging in playful antics with her fellow kitties. She is a great companion cat who is not too needy.
We estimate Dolly was born in June 2021. She was pregnant when we rescued her. Her babies are grown and gone, and now she is looking for a loving family. She has been spayed, microchipped, and given age-appropriate vaccines. Thankfully, she tested negative for FeLV and FIV. She is ready to go home with her new family!
Dolly came from the mean streets but has never displayed any aggression towards humans and is a gentle soul at heart. She simply prefers a more independent lifestyle but will cherish the moments of affection she shares with her humans.
