Available for Adoption: Rutland, VT

Handsome affectionate and playful guy with beautiful golden eyes would love a family with other cats and tons of love!

Tick – Adult Male: …and friends

Sweet, loving, and affectionate–that’s Tick!

He likes to give very strong head butts and he makes intense biscuits. He love-nips necks when he’s being petted a ton. (classic overstimulation) Overall I think he’d benefit from someone who can give him a lot more time.

We caught him in Middlebury and he had been eating rocks and living in a drain pipe. He has scars from frostbite.

He loves other cats. He isn’t food aggressive at all even to other cats and he loves cat nip.

We got him neutered and up to date on everything, tested for everything and his preventatives are up to date. He might have food allergies, we’re trying different foods and some medication to clear up some scabs on his neck.

He is about 2.5 years old.

Tick has been neutered and we estimate he was born in the winter of 2018-2019. The vet thinks he may be allergic to chicken. He will probably need special food. He tested negative for FIV and FeLV. He has had age-appropriate vaccines.
