Affectionate and playful, this big black panther is ready for his forever home.
Bear is a very loving, gentle, and playful young lap cat. He loves to be pet, brushed, and cuddled once he’s comfortable with you, and he is a true gentleman (no bites/hissing/growling at all with his foster placement). He is also quiet as can be! He appears to not have much of a full meow, just cute little squeek/chirp sounds occasionally when he plays with his toys).

Bear is a happy guy and purrs much of the time when he’s around you. When he’s really enjoying his pats, he’ll even roll onto his back to ask for a tummy rub. Bear loves to play. Laser pointer, toy mice, and catnip toys are all huge hits. Bear will play ‘fetch’ with his toys (i.e. he’ll bring you his mouse or catnip toy to throw for him, and he’ll chase it down and bring it back to you for more). In his foster home he also repeatedly flings his toys across the room himself to chase if no human is available.

He is also a fan of treats, plush blankets, a perch in a sunny window, and he likes to curl up next to his human at night. New surroundings or sounds will take some time for Bear to get used to, but he is truly a loving kitty who wants nothing more than the right forever home.

Bear tested negative (good) for FeLV, FIV, and Heartworm. He is up-to-date on Distemper and has received his 1 yr Rabies vaccine. He is microchipped and is neutered. His estimated DOB is December 25, 2018.
