If you are looking for a cat with personality, then Caitlin is your girl. She is a spunky girl that just wants to play and give love at her own pace.
Catelyn is very loving. Purrs as soon as you touch her. Loves back scratches, and does elevator-butt. Sometimes so high, she does a handstand! May be cautious at first since she was mistreated by a child, but is trusting as soon as you touch her. Super sweet and kind girl.
Catelyn takes a little time around other cats to respect their space but with time she is affectionate with her foster brothers. Caitlin prefers to eat away from her foster brothers as she is a slow eater and does not like others eating her food. Catelyn will prosper in a home where she can get a lot of affection and attention, maybe with a with mellow, non-assertive cat. too?
Caitlin needs to feel loved and secure in order to blossom and show her true personality. She likes to be picked up; it makes her feel secure.
Catelyn comes from the Game of Thrones cat community, who all live in a barn in the general Rutland area. The community is well-fed, and many of the adults are friendly. The farmer asked us to help find them their own Forever Families. She was adopted in early 2020, but it wasn’t a perfect situation for her, so The Feline Connection was grateful and happy to take her back and find her a Forever Family.
Good with Cats. She was bossy with the family dog at her previous home, so we are thinking that dogs may not be a good fit. Not suitable for a home with children.
Catelyn tested negative (good) for FeLV, FIV, and Heartworm. She will receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption for FVRCP and Rabies. She is microchipped. We believe she was born in mid-October 2019. She will need a special diet, so is therefore considered Special Needs.
