Senior Love Bug just wants to cuddle!
Gracie is a love bug! She just wants to cuddle and be pampered a little (a lot?). She wants to hang out with her forever family, sit on your lap, eat, sleep and occasionally zoom around like a crazy cat! She is very sweet and affectionate.
She would be perfect for a retiree looking for quiet, purring company.
Gracie has recently had a vet check with her current family. She is in the very early stages of renal failure (due to age) so she is on a special diet (Hill’s Prescription Diet k/d Kidney Care). This food should help and could reverse the condition since it was caught so early. She is healthy otherwise as far are her family knows.
Gracie is front declawed (adopted that way) and is an indoor-only cat, although Gracie will take any opportunity to run outside.
Her current family, who loves her dearly, has had a change in living situation. Gracie and her brother Ivan were adopted in Chicago about 10 years ago. They will be happier not being adopted together, they have a personality mismatch. Ivan pestered Gracie and because she is declawed, she could not defend herself. It is possible she will do ok with other cats, but her family thinks not.
Gracie has not yet been evaluated by TFC, but would be up-to-date on her shots if not already, her medical condition verified and have a microchip.
