Young Sarafina prefers the quiet life
After raising her kittens, Mama Sarafina is ready for the quiet life in a forever home. Rescued as a stray in May 2021, Sarafina about a year old and still shy and easily scared. She needs a peaceful home in which to come out of her shell and learn to trust. Her foster Mom says Sarafina’s first reaction when interacting with you might be to hiss in fear as her maternal instincts are still in overdrive, but she will soon be head-butting and rubbing against you like you’re a long-lost friend.
Sarafina loves, loves, loves food, so feeding time is the best time to show her affection and win her over. She has yet to meet a window sill she doesn’t love to nap on.
“She is very sweet and gentle once she warms up and loves to head butt…She will need someone who understands they won’t be able to simply pick her up and snuggle her right away, but on her own terms, she will give them so much love.”-Sarafina’s Foster Mom
We believe Sarafina will do best in a quiet house, without young children. She may be amenable to sharing a home with another cat. She has had visually interaction with other cats in her foster home and does not seem to mind them.
Sarafina has been spayed, microchipped, and has her age-appropriate vaccinations. She tested negative (good) for FeLV and FIV. Her estimated date of birth is May 2020.
