Supremely beautiful, affectionate, aloof, mellow, and cautious with luxuriant long fur, that’s our Chrissie!

Chrissie Hynde – Adult Female: May 29, 2022 (full on Princess mode)

Chrissie, or Princess Chrissie as her foster Mom calls her, has a beauty that speaks for itself. Chrissie came to us as part of a mostly feral group of cats. She had just given birth to stillborn kittens at a very young age. She was badly matted and all that messy fur was saved. Her gorgeous long fur has grown back and it looks great! She is very cautious about people, but once she gets used to a person, she does love petting and head scratches. She does not want to be picked up under any circumstances. She prefers to sit upon her Princess throne AKA a Chewy box and be admired.

Chrissie loves to eat, and wet food is her favorite. She gets along well with other cats; she has no known history with dogs but we suspect she could be intimidated by them. Chrissie would likely do well in a home with no small children and a patient, understanding adopter.

We believed that Chrissie was born in June of 2020, approximately. She has been spayed and at adoption, she will have all age-appropriate vaccines and a microchip. She tested negative (good) for FeLV and FIV. She can be groomed with patience.
