*****FATSO HAS BEEN ADOPTED. MARCH 2019

Fatso
Beautiful girl, beautiful soul, not so fat

Hi there! My name is Fatso. I’m really not sure why? Maybe it is supposed to be pronounced Fazz-Toe? I am looking for a loving forever home to call my own, filled with cushy things…TOY! LEAPING, RUNNING, LEAPING, POUNCE, GOT IT!! MINE MINE MINE, HURRRUMPH. OK YOU CAN HAVE IT….er… Oops, where was I? Ah yes, I want a loving forever home to call my own, filled with cushy places from which to survey the world and snuggle with my hooman. If you aren’t into major snuggling, I’m not the cat for you! I work hard to keep my fur in tiptop shape, for good pet-ab……..FRIEND! HI!, SNIFF–LET’S CUDDLE PURR PURR PURRRR….oops, there I go again. What was I talking about? Oh, yes,….good pet-able soft velvety fur. I figure it’s like this: the softer my fur, the more cuddles and loves I will get from my hooman.

Ready to be BFFs? Adopt me!

P.S. I would love to have a new name, please! I am not sure why everyone laughs when they hear it, but hoomans are weird!

Yours most madly, truly, deeply,

Fatso
(Cats can’t really write, so we gave Fatso a little help)

Hey, Friends! Guess what!? I have a boyfriend now! I love snuggling with Shadow, and I really would like to have a forever home with him! Maybe we will even get married!

Fatso

(Cats can’t really get married, and they are spayed and neutered.)

Available for Adoption

Both Fatso and her boyfriend Shadow are in good health and friendly. They have been spayed, dewormed, and will have all their age-appropriate shots at adoption. They need an indoor-only home. We always recommend having at least two cats, so they can keep each other company. Fatso and Shadow aren’t bonded, but they do enjoy one another company, and it would be great if they could find a Forever Home together, but it’s not required.

Fatso (Gray domestic short-hair female adult) and her boyfriend Shadow (Black domestic short-hair male adult) were abandoned by their previous owners at a friend’s house after their house was condemned for a gaping hole in the roof. While moving out they were left in a small car for 10 hours in summer heat. They all somehow survived, and these two are still friendly and loving! You can read more about their circumstances in an earlier post on the Benson Cat Group.

Fatso’s exact age is unknown; she is young but not a kitten, and is in good health. She has gorgeous yellow-green eyes and luxurious silvery-gray fur. She likes to cuddle. She has been spayed, dewormed, and will have FVRCP and Rabies vaccine shots at adoption.

Shadow’s age is also unknown. He has lovely black fur, with a few white strands on his chest. He has allergies that cause his fur to thin, but it comes and goes. The skin irritation could be also caused or exacerbated by the stress of living with so many other cats.  He was vetted and no serious health issues were identified.

Adoption fee is $65 each, which covers spay/neuter, FVRCP and Rabies vaccine, a negative Leukemia and Feline Aids test, and deworming. We strongly recommend microchipping all cats. If you want a microchip, the adoption fee is $130 each. Learn More

Can’t adopt but want to help? The adoption fee does not cover all costs completely, so donations are gratefully received. If you want to have your donation go specifically to the Benson Cat Group or Fatso, please email The Feline Connection.
