Sleek house panther Heath Bar ready for lap naps and love.

Heath Bar: March 16, 2020 – Adult Male

One of the Candy Cats, Heath is a handsome house panther that is as sleek as he is quiet.  We have had him in our home for about three weeks and we haven’t heard a peep out of him, not a meow, hiss, nor growl.  Heath is gentle in his demands to be pet, loves a cozy lap with plenty of scritches, and a comfy place to sleep.  Foster Pops, who usually doesn’t say much, has said that he is such a good boy and would love to keep him but, “whoever decides to take [him] home is going to be very lucky”.  Heath is a timid guy and will take some time to get used to the sounds of a new home (a couple of weeks), however, he will quickly come back out of hiding for some love.

Heath Bar: March 29, 2020 – “Can I have a treat now?”

A while ago, we had posted asking for food and litter donations for a veteran we are helping. To recap slightly, His kindness, and love of cats, helped him to rescue many stray cats. However, he was no longer able to afford spays and neuters, and things got out of hand.
The populations have grown beyond what he can handle, and he has asked for help. He is a good man, trying to help the 30 plus cats in his care. But life keeps throwing punches at him, which had made it so very hard for him and his family to get back on their feet.
