Little Richard loves to purr and make biscuits

Little Richard – Adult Male: June 20021

Little Richard is a super snuggly fellow. Small in stature but big on affection, Little Richard will immediately start to purr when his favorite humans walk into the room.

He loves to snuggle up against their legs and roll around on the floor while purring and making air biscuits – or biscuits wherever his paws are!

Little Richard: June 2021

His foster Mom describes him as a super loving boy but notes that since he was found as a stray, he will need a patient and loving guardian who will let him progress at his own pace until he gets comfortable with you and wants all the love.

“Little Richard came to us very shy and scared but warmed up decently quickly. The first times we met him he would always greet us with a welcome hiss and then warm up…

It’s getting to that critical point where he’s really opening up to me and we are connecting – so I feel like he is ready for adoption, and if he stays for longer we will become too attached!”

-Foster Mom

Little Richard on Rescue Day: April 2021

Little Richard is an adult neutered male — we are unsure of his age at the time of this adoption post. He tested negative (good) for FeLV and FIV. He is up-to-date on his vaccinations and will have a microchip at adoption.

Little Richard is looking for a quiet home, preferably without small children. He is frightened by loud noises and sometimes during playtime Little Richard will mistake hands for play toys. Little Richard might learn to peacefully co-exist with a mellow dog, provided he has a slow introduction. He has been tolerating the dog in his foster home well, but he does do a bit of hissing to enforce his personal space.

If you’re looking for a handsome fluffy ball of love, have a quiet home, and are willing to give Little Richard a bit of time and space to get comfortable in your world, please fill out an adoption application below.
