Sweet and mellow guy has retired from street life and loves pets!

Nash is a large DSH (domestic short hair) cat with a beautiful orange coat and tabby markings. Nash loves scritches and pets! He is a mellow guy who loves to lounge in the sun and watch the world go by from his perch at the window. Nash is not a big fan of toys, but he loves his sleeping spot – his carrier.

Nash has had a tough life on the streets, but he has been altered and is now ready for a new life indoors. Although he is understandably cautious, Nash is a sweet and gentle cat who would make a great companion for someone who is patient and willing to give him some time to settle in.

Nash is litter trained and is a bit of a foodie – he loves kibble, but his foster mom also gives him slurpy soup to make eating easier for him. Nash is a mature cat and doesn’t have too many teeth left (Stomatitis), but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying his meals. Without many teeth, it is hard to estimate his age–we are guessing he is around nine years old.

Nash is FIV positive, which means he can only be with non-aggressive cats. He has been microchipped and given age-appropriate vaccines. He tested negative (good) for FeLV. He is not the best with dogs or children, so a quiet home without young kids would be best for him.

Nash is looking for his Forever Family, where he can spend the rest of his life lounging in the sun and getting all the love and attention he deserves. If you are looking for a sweet, mellow companion, Nash might just be the perfect cat for you.
