Auntie the stunning dark eyeliner tabby has learned the secrets of a wonderful life with humans young and old.

Auntie: Adult Female – November 18, 2019

Auntie is a sweet cat who loves people, is good with cats, dogs and kids. Not to mention she is very beautiful! She has made herself a wonderful family pet.

Foster mom: “She is always around where we are in the house and she is purring all the time. That is the first thing that comes to me when describing her. She is a people cat! Loves to be petted and is beginning to enjoy being a lap cat. She is super easy going. She’ll eat anything – that is the one bad thing – she thinks all meat in the house is for her.”

Auntie: Adult Female – November 18, 2019

Foster mom: “She stands in the water dish to get a drink (it is a big one for the dogs). Everyone else (other cats) requests running water in the sink – she likes to “wash” her paws while she is drinking in the bowl!”

Auntie: October 10, 2019 – being held by her foster family–5 yr old kid

Foster mom: “Auntie was first spotted running through the yard in the early spring. She would dart across the back yard but not get near anyone or our other cats.  It took a very long time before she was brave enough to come to food that was being put out. Eventually, she would come to eat and with lots of patience as able to start being petted. She learned that food was coming from a bin in the kitchen and she started running in the door when it was dinner time. She would go to the bin as if to ask for food. She wanted to run right back out and was not happy if the door shut for long with her inside.”

Auntie quickly learned to enjoy the benefits of life with humans and chose to have her kittens with her new foster family. The family lives on a dairy farm, so they are always getting drop-offs, unfortunately, and with their own four cats, Auntie, Auntie’s kittens, and two other strays, Auntie is looking for a new home. The house also has 2 dogs and 4 kids, so Auntie is very used to a busy household.

Auntie is FeLV, FIV and Heartworm negative. She has been treated for fleas and earmites. She has a microchip.
