About the Phantom Feline program
Penelope is a cautious kitten, she hangs out from a distance for the action. She likes to lay low and watch what’s happening and take it all in. She will play once warmed up to the idea but with four sisters around she is the last to chime in. She would prosper in a quiet home with one on one attention. She needs someone to bring her out of her shell.
Her perfect family would be someone who would be willing to put in the time to gain her trust. She doesn’t like to be held or picked up and will hiss when you try. She has never tried to bite or claw. She has the potential to overtime be pet and loved but I would be surprised if she is ever cuddly.
She is a mellow girl, cautious, but likes her treats and wet food. She likes to sleep in “caves.”
Penelope is a Phantom Feline because she would rather keep her distance when dogs and people are around but does not attack.
She was born in mid-April, has been spayed, and has age-appropriate FVRCP & Rabies vaccines. She is considered FeLV and FIV negative via a negative result from her mom. She has a microchip.
Phantom Felines make great companions for other cats and are not demanding of attention from their Forever Families. Some blossom once adopted into Forever Families, but not all. Penelope would love a warm and safe home–off the mean streets, cozy places to sleep, tasty noms, and someone to encourage her to play. Interested in giving a cat a loving Forever Family? Please fill out an Adoption Application. To place a cat on hold, adoption approval and a $50 deposit fee are required. Cats can be placed on hold after your Adoption Application has been approved.
