Available for Adoption

The Town Kittens are active, loving kittens ready for leaping into your heart!

The Town Kittens: October 17th. The only picture we have of them all in one place!

The Town Kittens were rescued from the Park Ave Cat Community, a new area with a number of stray cats. With support from the local community, we are doing TNR (Trap, Neuter/Spay and Return) for the adults and rescuing the kittens. These guys have been with us for a month and are very social. They are now looking for their Forever Families, because, honestly, they like the lifestyle of pampered indoor pets!

We always recommend that kittens be adopted in pairs unless there are other young cats in the family. They keep eachother company and it can help prevent some behavioral issues.

The Town kittens are FeLV, FIV, and Heartworm negative (good). At adoption they will be spayed or neutered, have received the FVRCP #1 vaccine and a microchip. They have been treated for fleas, ear mites and common parasites.

Benson — ADOPTED

Benson: September 17, 2019 – Hanging with his foster mom!

Benson- brown tabby male. Benson is adventurous and bold. He was one of the first kittens to warm to his new environment and comes running with a room-shaking purr whenever he sees his foster mom. Benson is 100% kitten and LOVES to play with toys (and his brothers and sisters).

Plymouth — ADOPTED

Plymouth- gray tabby male. Plymouth is, by far, the most mischievous of the Town Kittens. He loves to climb everything, and tasting shoes is his specialty. He loves exploring new places and climbing whatever is in sight. Plymouth is very playful and cuddly. He loves to sit by your feet and play with your shoes.

Bolton — ADOPTED

Bolton: October 17, 2019

Bolton- black male, one polydactyl foot. Bolton has one extra toe. Just one. On his right front paw. It makes him unique and, we think, even more special! Bolton has a few white hairs on his chest, and what looks like a white heart on his belly. It’s fitting as this kitten has a big heart. He is incredibly sweet and friendly, climbing all over anyone that enters the room, all the while purring loudly.

Bethel — ADOPTED

Bethel- black female, polydactyl in front paws. Bethel is just like her siblings, sweet and cuddly. One trait of these sweet babies is a very loud, very well-used purr. Bethel is inquisitive and friendly.

Bethel: October 17, 2019 – “Lunch as so good I decided to carry some with me all day on my face!”

Bristol — ADOPTED

Bristol: October 17, 2019

Bristol- black female. Bristol could be Bethel’s twin. They are hard to tell apart. Bristol (like really all of her siblings) is sweet and gentle, inquisitive and adventurous. She loves to cuddle and she loves to romp around with her siblings.

Bristol: September 21, 2019 – Rescue Day

Vergennes — ADOPTED

Vergennes- black female, large white patch on chest. Vergennes is the runt of the litter. She is very small, fitting as she is named after “Vermont’s Smallest City”. Vergennes is the most observant of her siblings. She hangs back and waits until she is sure everything is safe before coming to anyone. She loves to sit and look out the window and has learned that laying in the sun makes her warm all over.
